this was a feisty little lady...

just after capturing this scene, (hadn't been spotted yet) my fairy godmother glanced in my direction and suddenly displayed a wildly irritated look, ranting in greek (think she was cursing) and fluttering her hands, she shooed me away (very animated gestures). quickly assessing the situation, finally it dawned on me that it was Sunday, and I (the naughty American) was lingering in the entryway of her church (photographing the interior), the horror, to add injury to insult, I was the dirty she-devil fashioning army green cargo's and a tiny tank top (not very religious and respectful of me?)... oops. lapsed into a giggle fest (at least 5 minutes, couldn't help it). she continued to stare me down, as I skipped back down a gorgeous narrow stone footpath, absorbing the historical scenery, suddenly irked that I failed to photograph that funny and brilliant cultural encounter.
