Plundering
and frolicking through the charming fishing village of Naoussa on the island
of Paros, a blistering hot sun left me dodging
for shady cool doorways, where I eventually stumbled onto this gorgeous refuge.
A sandy shell lined beach overlooking the emerald
Aegean Sea, completely desolate, siesta time, everyone was at home eating
or sleeping. Plopped myself down at cute cafe
(the greek god's must love me because it
was OPEN), and ordered an iced latte (greek style), mmm, strong as hell,
a delicious thick black tar layed with fresh cream, shaken with a pinch
of sugar and poured over ice....
Naoussa.
