

my first meal in Athens, was referred
here by a local Athenian, hidden in a little section just around the
corner from my hotel. The before shot, gigantic yigandes (beans) in tomato
sauce, a side of horta
(to my amusement, it's collard greens), followed by a few fish, they hadn't
arrived yet. the owners
of the restaurant allowed me into the kitchen and I picked out the little
fishies, took some pix and of
course enhanced and expanded my greek vocabulary (I'll never starve in Greece).
